Rest In Place
Rest in peace
The mind which could not make amends
While alive
In sleep
Freedom was found
Leaving wonders of what lay beyond
The eternal slumber
Therefore
One
Then another
Took their own breath away
To divert from all that claims to be known
Achieving destiny
Guided by the surge of feelings
To end the visceral obligation
To everyone and everything
Only to sooner begin
Their celestial journey
Rest in place
The unwanted affliction
For currently
It is like war to merely survive a question
The most dangerous mind is believed to have once been
A divine house of light
Diminishing by the chaos of an ever-changing existence
Caving In
Without the reassurance
So here
Will you witness what descends and retracts?
Letting go too easily
Tempts numbness to linger
Longer than anticipated
Enticing the belief
Permanent isolation is salvation
Remaining open
I awake to another day
Reminding
They will soon feel
The ricochet of suppressed conscience
The overflow must
Surely bestow
The greatest cleanse we have yet to witness
The worthy reflection
Is swiftly in sight
Awaiting to be summoned
By aid of the ancestors light
Rest in power
All those minds that begged to be still
Amidst this immortal tension
Never are you forgotten
Here
Resisted by resting permanently
Now Rest
Onto the beyond
With your kindred spirit
We walk without you
We will never stop seeing you
So long as we remember ourselves
So long
Soon too gone
